Anthurium sp. ‘El Oriente Bullate’ Wild Ecotype is a Peruvian Anthurium wild ecotype, distinguished by its deeply textured leaf blade and elegant sagittate-cordate shape. This plant produces firm, deep green leaves with a satin to slightly matte surface and a strongly marked bullate texture, where the tissue between the veins rises naturally, creating a highly ornamental relief.
The leaf displays a well-defined central vein, accompanied by prominent lateral veins that form a very attractive architectural pattern. The posterior lobes are rounded and well developed, separated by a deep and narrow basal sinus, giving the plant an exotic and distinctive silhouette among Amazonian Anthurium types.
Its thick texture, pronounced leaf relief, and softly undulated margins give it a strong, wild, and sculptural appearance. The petiole is elongated, firm, and green, holding the leaf elegantly and allowing the shape and venation to be fully appreciated.
As a wild ecotype native to Peru, this Anthurium represents a natural form with high ornamental value for collectors looking for rare, authentic plants with distinctive botanical traits. Its bullate appearance makes it a striking piece, especially for collections focused on textured Anthurium, wild forms, and Amazonian ecotypes.
